Planning Successful Meetings, Events & Programs!

Welcome to my Blog! I created this website as I want to promote my Meeting Planning/Manager expertise to those companies or organizations who are in need of my services. I have extensive experience in planning meetings and special events. I also have three industry accreditations as I am a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), a Certified Meeting Manager (CMM) and I have a Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC).

My specialty is in Strategic Meeting Management (SMM), as I assist companies in focusing on a Return on Investment (ROI) with all the meetings that they host. My focus is to get a seat at the table with the Executive team of companies, to create an objective and brand their meeting(s). We work together on a marketing plan, securing the appropriate speakers, establish a budget, making sure that contingency plans are in place, overseeing security and making sure that we all stay on track within an appropriate time line.

My job as a Meeting Manager is to conduct site selections, contract negotiations for Hotels, off-site event venues, transportation, and miscellaneous suppliers needed for each meeting, event or program. I also work on the food & beverage menus, Audio Visual needs, meeting set ups, logistics, time tables and what ever is needed to make for a successful meeting, event or program.

I make sure that everything is taken care of as planned as I pay close attention to all the details. I follow up with everything in writing to confirm that all the arrangements are in place. In addition, I prepare the Specifications for the meeting along with the Rooming Lists and miscellaneous correspondence needed to keep all parties involved with any changes or updates.

Finally, I oversee all the arrangements on-site to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
